Kyrie begins the 2017-18 season as a Cav. +100

apparently this is the line in Vegas books.
i wonder if he has to complete the entire season as a Cav in order for the bet to win.

if it only requires that he start the season as a Cav, then I believe this is a good bet

bet its only to start the season
no way could it be to finish
Id bet that 100 times out of 100

Its still a solid play if you bet he wont start the season with them
The guy wants away from James and publicly shamed Lebron
Front office wont take to that too kindly

I wouldn't rule out a Kyrie/Lebron sit down and things getting worked out.

LeBron went out of his way on social media to shoot down reports that he was angry with Kyrie.... I think that's telling.

He'll probably still be on the team

Like I said it's not a big market for him because of his position and salary

Suns guard Eric Bledsoe is adding fuel to the rumors of a possible deal to Cleveland by working out with LeBron James and newly signed Cavaliers guard Derrick Rose this week in Las Vegas, according to ESPN.com. Bledsoe is among several players who have been tied to Cleveland in the past week in rumored trades involving Kyrie Irving, but he has a unique connection by being a client of Klutch Sports, just like James and teammates Tristan Thompson and J.R. Smith. “I love everything about [the Phoenix area],” Bledsoe told Scott Bordow of The Arizona Republic this week. “At the same time, I want to win.” A report Tuesday said the Suns wouldn’t be willing to part with first-round pick Josh Jackson in an Irving deal.

Today’s press conference with owner Dan Gilbert and new GM Koby Altman did little to calm the nerves of Cavaliers fans, writes Marla Ridenour of The Akron Beacon-Journal. Despite Altman’s assurances that the feud between James and Irving is “overblown,” there is clearly a rift between the stars and Irving’s trade request could sour team chemistry if he is not moved before the season starts, Ridenour adds. Gilbert and Altman both used the word “fluid” to describe Irving’s situation, and Altman admitted that he has been in touch with Irving’s agent.

The Timberwolves are not willing to send Andrew Wiggins back to Cleveland.

According to Minnesota's KSTP-TV, Wiggins has not been involved in trade talks with the Cavaliers for Kyrie Irving, but even if he was, it would take more than just Wiggins to facilitate a deal.

    celtics 7-1 to get kyrie

Ainge should understand he cant win for at least 2 more years. Trade Isiah Thomas and Horford for Irving

That would be a win win for both teams. Cleveland would have James, Love, IT, Horford and Rose

if Rose played well they would be the best in the east by far

Could he really play for the Cavs still after all off this?

    Would be pretty awkward no?

exactly. Boston would be a huge fit for him. He could take 25 shots a game and eventually win. make the trade danny!

In addition to the fact that Cleveland would never trade Irving to an eastern conference team for obvious reasons Lebron could never play with Isiah Thomas who is horrible off the ball and the salaries don'to matchup - Horford and Irving are both max contract so if Cleveland took Horford and Thomas they would have a massive tax bill. Where would Horford play - you can't move Thompson whose contract is horrible and Horford and Thompson couldn't be on the cour at the same time. The only team that could give Cleveland what they want is Phoenix with Eric Bledsoe - Bledsoe is close friends with Lebron and an excellent defensive player - plus he's young unlike Thomas and Horford who are 28 and 32. The best bet in my opinion is Irving stays with Cleveland because why would he want to play with a young team that probably won't even make the playoffs in the West and none of the teams on Irving's trade list have anything to offer Cleveland.

one or two sit downs w lebron and they'll be good. so many star players on the same team in history have hated each other. difference is there was no social media and instant sports news back then

yes Horford and Thomas getting older no doubt. that is why ainge would trade them........almost everything would benefit the cavs for next year. they get the same offensive output from I.thomas to irving at PG...........they upgrade to a solid overall horford, a team player and smart player. Love-Horford no doubt would work well together. Keep thompson he is what he is

    Lebron
    I.Thomas
    Love
    Horford
    Thompson
    Rose

thats an exceptional first 6.....would take a few months but they could beat the warriors

Kobe Bryant went all over the media personally demanding the Lakers to trade him back in 07.

Needless to say...they never traded him and worked it all out.

The difference is, Shaq was already gone and the team was crap. They sold Kobe on getting him help and they did it.

How would Cavs give what Kyrie wants (being the man)? Trade LeBron lol?

I think the + money is worth the risk now.....

I would bet that Kyrie gets traded some time after December 15th when any players signed this summer can be dealt - that opens up a larger market for the Cavs to make moves for.

A lot can happen between now and December but Cleveland won't do anything Lebron doesn't want them to do if they have a choice and Lebron clearly doesn't want to trade Irving right now.
