Trump to WSJ: "I'm willing to keep parts of Obamacare"

    He is a centrist.

Trump is not going to be the nut he was on campaign.

He has stated in the past that he agrees that people with preexisting conditions should not be denied coverage.

The old system sucked. Obamacare sucks. Whatever system is to come will likely suck too. It's an impossible problem.

That was pretty much an act, of course he'll be OK, plus there's this checks and balances thing, everybody needs to relax.

He and his advisors have stated this already.

    Preexisting conditions clause stays

    Medicaid stays

    Employer mandate goes away

Crossing state lines to compare prices goes in

    Tax penalty goes away

Health savings and tax benefits are in

I think we need health care reform, Obamacare is a good idea, just poorly executed.

You can't have the government totally involved in healthcare

    Insurance companies need more leverage

If you take away penalties, what forces people to buy in? If you don't have people buy in the cost will be enormous.

I just heard that building a wall would cost $20 Billion. I'm not so sure that's going to get done either. We shall see...

They need to double it. The math of universal health care only works when everyone pays into it. It's basically social security. You pay into it when young and healthy and withdraw when old. Anyone w/o healthcare should only be treated for life threatening injuries and then immediately kicked out and taxed until they repay that debt.

Do away with healthcare all together.
Doctors are not needed at the level that we use them.

Would be cool. Doubtful anyone gets a direct payment but should make up for it in across the board savings on wages and races and products soon now that we are off the cliff
