If Trump keeps the ban on pre-existing conditions and does not have a mandate and penalty, the insurance companies will go bankrupt and their stock prices will plummet. Insurance premiums will skyrocket.

He's going to have to get rid of pre-existing conditions and then lose the 2020 election or put poor people on govt healthcare. The healthcare system was coming apart when ObamaCare got implemented and it is going to unravel immediately once the mandate goes away.

That is reasonable. I would add that the government regulate more closely on what doctors and hospitals can charge and step in and take the risk out of the claims like they do with prescription drug plans (Part D) for people on medicare.

The main complaint from America now is they do not want the premiums to go up so much each year. Well, we cannot expect the insurance companies to take a loss and we cannot expect the providers to go in the red because they cannot collect their bill. But, we can expect there to be fairness in how much they charge and how much their margin is.
