What do you consider is a Low Baller?

Let's say I'm trying to sell a ATV for $3,000 and I tell these hamburgers to don't low ball it. What amount would you consider being a low ball offer?

This is PT so all you small timers betting air should have plenty of experience with this.

If you listed it at 3, and they offered you 1.5, I would consider that being lowballed.

By low-balling, the final agreed-upon price will be lower. You need to high-ball a low-baller.

I would say in this case, anything less than $2400 would be a low-ball offer.

A lot of factors to consider here what's the make/model, year, mileage, damages, etc. You're asking for 3k but what is its true value?

This is a great question. I was assuming the atv was worth $3k. Are you high-balling at $3k?

I was looking online and some places said anything over 25% is low balling it.

Yes. Hopefully you have let them ride it and can see in their eyes they want it. And knock $100 off to test their temperature. Then go from there

Make the price $2,700 and inform prospective buyers that it's take it or leave it.

I have a car for sale for $4800 and have had 3 or 4 low ballers all offering $3000

But why even worry about it? I don't even answer them. If they are interested at a reasonable price they will contact again.

Good luck with that. I constantly get offers from people for half of what I have things listed for. In their mind they're trying to establish a low point to meet in the middle. In my mind I'm debating on telling them deal, having them drive 45 minutes and not showing up. Between that and idiots trying to start negotiations with "what's the lowest you'd take" it can get maddening.

Give the app OfferUp a try. I do the majority of my local says thru there now, tho be prepared for people to offer you shoes and broken electronics as a trade.

Mobile I think maybe you need me to sell this ATV for you. My normal commission is 27%, but I can do it for 19.5% since you are an sbr pro.

I will do it via facebook video messenger, I guarantee I will get $2,571.99, and not a penny less.

    Let me know pal.

I was going to ask, are you one of those guys that over value your item and than get mad when someone offers you a reasonable price compared to it's true value? Some guys consider true value a low ball offer. I shop for cars for my business every now and than and it's hilarious how delusional some people are.

I would consider 1500-2000 range a low ball on something worth about 2700. But in reality, if you're not that interested in an item, throwing a number out there might get you it so there is no harm in trying.

I only raise the price if I had upgraded the item and just add the labor and parts of the upgrade to what was the original value.
