Yes, You can buy a half point on any spread up for down on any game total. Not on any halftime lines. Ex : You cannot buy Toronto/Cleveland First Half 'Under 101.5 to 101

Oh, I believe you would buy, too, if you have an open game[parlay] and 9 winners riding on it. You buy at least one point hoping to not lose by a 1/2 point. That is one example.

I guess you mean leaving for Las Vegas? Not sure, but hope to before the college football starts. So, I need to arrive at least two weeks before CF.

I'll give you a real life example of the hook in action. Myself and two friends all bet a college football game a few years back, I think it was Oklahoma St. @ Texas Tech or something like that. One friend bet it early at -3.5, my other friend bet it right before kickoff like I did and it had moved to -3. I unlike my two buddies bought the half point though, -2.5. They won by a FG in OT. So needless to say that hook was extremely important in the outcome of our three bets. One dude lost cause of the hook, other dude pushed and I won cause I bought the half point. I'll never forget it cause the game was in OT and they were lining up to kick the potential game winning FG and my two buddies are yelling shit for the dude to miss to extend the game and I'm thinking come on hit it and cash that ticket.

They don't always do team totals, prop bets, in game wagers/live wagers

You should learn how to bet money lines/sides/totals and that's it

I love Vegas because they phuckin pay you as soon as the ticket is graded
