Mourinho turns down Syria then declares he will be back this summer

On the approach from Syria, he said: "They (The Syrian FA) published (the offer) on their website the letter they sent to my agent. That one I have to say is true, but I have to say in a very special way we said we were not interested in the job.

"I have made this exception to speak with you (the media) because I didn't speak for a long time, but I am going back to the same position. The only thing I can say is I don't have a contract with any club but in the summer I will be back."

Had to laugh about this who the fook would want to go to a war zone like Syria to manage a football team.

only way i'd ever step foot in Syria is if Assad was firmly back in control and executing revolutionaries as he sees fit

This is the best job to have. Can imagine the ref in a home game screwing up the home team. He will be beheaded.
