    No and yes. As long as you have enough money to live a comfortable life money does not equate to happiness. If you're living in poverty, then yes there is a correlation. This has been studied numerous times.

    Used to think that until a couple months ago...

    When you see the poorest of the poor happier than you you realise that happiness is more than just money. Its a whole array of experiences and events that make you the person you are...

    So in short, NO, money doesn't buy happiness at all. It does however buy comfort, one of the many characteristics that represent what it means to be happy...
