Is Kevin Durant really thinking about taking his talents to Golden State?

Adrian Wojnarowski seems to think it's a growing possibility:

This would not be good for the NBA.

    Bay Area vs. OKC.

    Hmmm. That's a tough one.

It's really starting to look like if he leaves OKC he's headed to the Warriors. I totally agree, it wouldn't be good for the league and I'm hoping he stays in OKC or heads home to Washington.

If Golden State were to go back-to-back, and then Kevin Durant were to sign there, he would look like the biggest pussy ever.

He would look better with the Lakers.

If he does, doesn't the NBA pretty much veto it anyways. Too much $$$ for GS, GS will have to spend money when they renew Curry's contract

Agreed and it would also diminish their accomplishments afterwards. I like Durant, I think he could be the centerpiece of a successful team and build his own legacy rather than hop on the Warriors' coattails.

Way too early to speculate. Only way he ends up with Warriors is through a sign and trade. Warriors would have to give up Klay, Bogut and sign Barnes to a deal OKC is good with.

If he does leave OKC don't be surprised if he landed in a place like Boston or Miami. Stevens is a coach almost every player would love to play for and Miami is tax free and nice place to live.

I'm pretty sure he's a free agent and can sign with any team of his choice (given they have the cap room). He might get traded before but highly unlikely.

They'd actually be able to take on Duran't contract without giving up more than Iguodala and Barnes.

    I totally agree.

Durant just has a weird personality. How this guy doesn't have Jordan like scoring numbers... is the biggest mystery. Guy has length... speed... distance... the biggest FREAK of ATHLETICISM in the world.... and the guy can't average 30 pts a game? Doesn't make sense to me.

Guy can get max deal anywhere.... but he wants to go to Golden State? Guy is a retarded unicorn.

Durant has averaged 30 a game for multiple seasons, and when not at 30, he's right around there. What are you smoking? Durant is just hitting his prime now. Guy is going to be top 5 all time in ppg for career. Book it.

Put Russel Westbrook on a football field. He'll make skinny ass Josh Norman look foolish in the open field. Stronger, faster, bigger, taller, more ferocious, more explosive, bigger hands, higher vertical leap.

    Should I say more?

It has nothing to do with that. It has to do with these stars joining other stars.

Durant joining a team that could end up winning back to back titles and breaking the single season record for wins would be an absolute joke.

Would be a huge mistake for the Warriors, one of the things they have going for them is chemistry. Not saying Durant is a bad guy, its just adding someone who makes a ton of money to a team that's already winning never seems to work out.

Jordan avg 30+ a game in his career.

    Durant isn't at 30.

Doesn't matter if he's "around there"

    He still isn't there.

He will be a free agent but would leave a lot of money on the table by signing a straight contract.

Those saying he isn't a top 5 player in NBA need a reality check. His foot injuries from last season are slightly troublesome and he still hasn't completely recovered from the surgeries.

warriors about as perfect as you can get. no need to do this, and i doubt they will. it would just mess things up.
