    Not sure any bulletin board is needed. I'm sure the crowd will be nuts. But as he says, I don't think it matters. It should be an instant classic either way. It's like skipping straight to Game 7 with the aces.

    Will jake pitch a complete game hmmmmm I been thinking of that one quite a bit......has 4 on the season I believe....and I think he can each appearance against the Pirates he has gone at least 7 and hasn't given up more then 1....jake complete game hmmmmmmm I don't see a reason to go against him

    FWIW (nothing, actually, but...) I believe the Cub are 1-0 in sudden death play-in games (1998).

    More importantly, historically speaking, this game has never been played before. There is no history. And there is literally no one on this team, and maybe in the entire organization, that has ever been involved in a past Cubs playoffs. All new players, new manager, new GM, new owners, heck a new scoreboard. I fail to see how anything that happened 7, 12, 17 or whatever years ago has any relevance whatsoever.

    Arrieta is a pitching genius it is very rare in baseball you get a pitcher do his work with so much ease, the pirates will be lucky if they score 2 runs off him today.
