    Lebron MVP...no matter who wins?

looking around at odds and most places have steph well odds on to take the mvp, which makes sense considering they are big favs for the title and there hasnt been an mvp from a losing team in what 40 years? more? still cant get around it though has to go to lebron, you take him out they are losing by 30+ a night.....thoughts?

Watching these finals is a great indication of how the talent level in the NBA just sucks these days.

Curry and Lebron have been the best players in league last 3 years.......how dreadful for a league that once featured legendary figures.

Lebron very good, if not great, but just not an exciting player to watch.......and of course, he has all the baggage he has scattered in his tenure in the league.

Kids league now. By the time they learn how to play defense and the 24 clock, it's too late cause they're burned out and broke down. They also know they're gettin paid no matter what...

Averaging 30+pts 10+rebs and 8ast per game...you gotta win the MVP! Specially when theres no one even close. Not to mention hes playing with a bunch of scrubs.

5Dimes has a prop about this:

Sun 6/14 15039 MVP is from winning team -1200
8:00PM 15040 MVP is from losing team +600
At those odds, I'll lay the wood and say MVP is from the winning team.

Obviously if the Cavs win, Lebron is the MVP, so that's an easy bet win that has ~25% equity or whatever anyone wants to assess for the Cavs at this point.

But if GS wins, the voters will try to find a way to give it to Steph or maybe Klay/Iggy/Dray can blow it up in the last 2/3 games and grab it. For Lebron to get MVP, everything has to go perfect, he's gotta continue to post up the mind boggling numbers as well as GS's starters need to chop their numbers and get heavy bench production to dilute their numbers. Steph almost needs to disappear not to win MVP if GS wins. I think Lebron has an outside chance of "stealing" the MVP if anyone ever could in the modern era, but at these odds, I'm betting against it.

    Doesnt matter

Curry the favorite right now, and will be more so if the Warriors win tonight, even if Lebron has another triple double.

    Lebron stats skewed anyways.

Curry has not been one of the best players in the league the last 3 years. Lebron absolutely, but not Curry.

definitely not if they lose the next two games, which i think is a strong possibility. you can't lose 4-2 and still be the mvp of the finals.

They are not giving MVP to someone on the losing team. Doesn't happen and won't. Happened with jerry west but won't again. How can you be MVP if you lost? How valuable are you really?

    Iggy should be MVP maybe

It seems we have a lot of rookies here which is okay I can tolerate them do you people realize the series is tied 2–2 and you're already giving and MVPs out?

Is there a possibility of Co-MVP's?

He couldn't make any shots in the last 1:30 when they needed it the most.

Never thought of this, good question. Has there ever been co-MVP for a major sport championship? It could be a first.

Bet365 has Lebron to wins Finals MVP at -110 right now. Curry is -110 as well.

He will probably get Kanye West'd instead.

yeah what a moron he is for stating the obvious.
Lets give lebron the MVP when hes shooting 37% and being non existant late in games.
You cannot make this stuff up. "Take lebron off the team and they lose by 30"
yeah no shet take any super star off a team and they get blown out.
