Tim Duncan top 3 all time?

Let's face it. The staying power of this guy is unreal. This guy is a true warrior. Best power forward of all time for sure.

Do you put him above Kobe Bryant? 2 years ago I would've said no. Now, I think you might have to.

only way he cracks top 3 if he would have KOed that turd ref crawford. Any player who does that gets top 3 automatically, regardless of any other stats.

Tim Duncan over Bryant is a joke. Tim Duncan is the best PF of all time. He's not a top 5 player all time. He's playing on the best dynasty of all time, with the best coach of all time (by far), and probably some of the best teams from 1-12 ever assembled. Bryant won b2b rings with his second best player being pau gasol and his third best being lamar odem. That's a joke of a big 3.

Goat settle down. Tim Duncan is ageless. He is doing what he wants against 2 monsters in this series. A fluke Ray Allen 3 is the only thing preventing this guy from having 6 rings. Don't forget also the year the Lakers lost to detroit fisher hit a once in a generation shot to knock out the spurs. Of course bryant played under Jackson not like Phil was a dummy. Phil owned pops in the playoffs.

Phil never owned pop. Bryant owned Pop. Bryant has owned the Spurs for much of his career. Game 5 or 6 against the pistons in the finals, Horry knocks down a fluke 3 for the win. Otherwise Pistons 100% repeat. Duncan is great, I have him repeating this year. Better than Bryant? No chance. Btw, watch (Kobe') MUSE on Showtime On Demand. Great.

The most impressive thing about him is that since Robinson retired Duncan has played with absolutely no help along the front line. He's working Griffin and Jordan on both ends by himself! The man is one hell of a defensive player. The last of the big men who plays like a big man.

Tim Duncan is the mercurial ANTI-ALL TIME LIST guy.

He is TEAM FIRST every time.

And that's why his career has been so remarkable. He is the most unselfish hero to ever play in the NBA.

He is the ANTI-Mt. Rushmore. The ANTI-G.O.A.T.

Arguing who is better between a #2 and #5 is moronic to begin with. 2 completely different roles and responsibilities. And yes TD is a #5 not a #4. He guards centers and is guarded by centers therefore he is a center and definitely one of the greats.

In all honesty, he should have 8 rings if he had played with someone who could hit an open shot. How many games has Matt Bonner STARTED and gone scoreless?! Michael Finley and Brent Barry couldn't hit a wide open shot to save their life!

He is now a top ten player..and if the Spurs are to win it all this year..he will be in the top 5...he will bypass Magic, Bird, and Robertson..he will be in the Jordan conversation...easily the best player of his generation...Jelly Bean has no business being compared to Duncan anymore..Lebron surpassed him 2 years ago..Duncan did it when he won a 5th ring at age 38...
