here is a question i have regarding mlb

say a game is tied and the home team hits a grand slam in the bottom of the 9th?
will 4 runs be scored or just the winning run?

If a home run is recorded ALL runs count....but say a guy hits a line drive to the gap with the bases loaded in the same scenario only the first run counts.

I know you were traveling so you probably didn't get to middle the NBA games today, but there were great opportunities today. Hit the Bulls middle (171.5 - 177.5, final 172) but got in on the Grizzlies too late (opening line was 180.5, high was 193.5, final 184). Puts some faith back into live betting after the horrendous day we had yesterday.
Not sure how it will turn out tomorrow but let's hope the games stick to somewhat predictable patterns.

Now that I am back home I won't have as many opportunities to try and middle games....in fact right now I am going to lay off of the live betting as I seem to hurt myself more than help. Next year in the NBA regular season I will start to utilize it again.

killin it! nice work! how much do you feel david lee's absence is going to affect the warriors? the line is very similar to the line of game 1. more opportunities for curry to shoot with one less star on the court?

Well,the line is a little different at this point....2 extra on the line and 6 smaller in the O/U.....my feelings that these are both pretty sharp lines. GS will come out fighting hard, but yes, the loss of Lee let's Denver control the interior a much higher percentage of the time.

Curry is like a rich man's Nate Robinson.....the more these guys score the LESS likely their team is to win. Team's like this become one dimensional and stop involving important plays and players when these guys start to shoot. When Curry goes off big all it does is take Clay Thompson out of his game/rythym and the ball stops circulating.

Both the game and the total are a NO PLAY for me in this situation as I just don't have enough solid info, but if I was forced at gun point to make a decision then I lean Denver to cover and the Over.

OK, I went back to the start of this thread (04/05/13) and this is what I found (hopefully I didn't miss any hockey plays):

85 bets played at a total risk of $9,875:

W-L-P/Cancelled - 53-28-3/1 (Bruins)

Amount won - $6,439 Amount lost: $2,572 Net G/L: +$3,867

Of the 85 bets, 39 were 3 Way/Regulation plays, with a W/L record of 22-16 -1 (Cancelled Bruins). Of the 16 losses, 7 would have won in OT/SO.

Moral of the story: drop your MLB plays

Well, I am not sure which is more shocking.....the fact that you took the time to do this for me (although I understand you did it for everyone, including yourself) OR the fact that over $9800 bet I could have a profit of almost $4k.....that is.....wow.

Thanks man, and I understand your thinking on baseball, and I don't mind if people want to drop it....but I will say this.....it is the start of the season and I will catch on and make this profitable. SO far I cannot be down that many units, I am learning the ropes and getting the feel of this season and I assure you (and myself!!) that I will be making it by the end of the season.

NP man, we all got to contribute to the thread somehow. I was only kidding about dropping the MLB picks and agree with your assessment about it being early in the season - haven't hit the sweet spot yet (which I find is typical of any sports season).

BTW, what's your take on the number of NHL games that would have won had they been played as full games? I know you prefer the only regulation games due to the reduced juice but it makes me curious knowing that over 40% (7/16) of those games could have been winners. I don't know what the juice would have looked like so it's all conjecture, but still a nice "what if" situation.
