    Help from middlers and scalpers
    What would you guys do:

    I have Cincinnati +14.5 (+100)

I have a chance to get W.Virginia at either -14 (+102) for a middle and scalp

Or I can get W.Virginia at -14.5 (+109) for an even bigger scalp but no middle opportunity.

    Thanks Guys.

Seems to me for a $100 bettor, in the second scenario you could lock in a $4.50 win and that's it. In the first scenario you lock in a $1 win and are risking $3.50 to win $100. So is it worth risking $3.50 to win $100? Seems to me a good bet and plus you'll be more interested in the game!!
BTW where did u get Cinny +14.5 E? I took a stand on WVa -14 earlier and I wouldn't mind getting off this play at that price.

I would try the middle...14 is a good number.

        Cin 14.5 (+100) at Sportsinteraction.com.

I am very confused by your description.

I took W.virginia -14 (+101)/Cincinatti +14.5(+100)....i figure 14 points happens from time to time...let's hope it does tonight.

It's the safe bet if you have no opinion on the game and doesn't hurt as it's risk free.

In the first scenario you'd lock in a .5% profit and have a 6% probability (the probability of hitting the 14 exactly) of making a 50% further profit. Hence your expected P&L would be 3.5%.

In the second scenario you'd lock in a 2.25% profit and have no chance of a middle.

            In short, take the +14.5 +100 / -14 +102.
