#2Davis didn't do much for the bkach coaches cause
Blowing the 15 pt HT lead
Getting the gift turnover
Guy couldn't finish, tried to run offense instead of using his team's athleticism and got straight up outcoached and outclassed. Couldn't draw up a play for a shot....sadComment -

#7All basketball games do, make sure you do it in the nba playoffs, when a team goes up 10-12 points, in the playoffs that is nothing, those leads disappear so fast and it is a tie game again, just cap who you think is gonna win, wait for the right time, and if you think that team can still win, if you happen to be watching, strikeCause Sleep is the Cousin of DeathComment -

#10It should have been and up and down gameplan for the 2nd half - that's how Carolina beats 'em. This idea that Kansas is a great up and down team is not that true. They are a great perimeter defensive team. I have been saying this a lot last couple of days. Davis got excited about the 15 point lead and thought they could run clock and back into a W. Horrible idea.Comment -

#15He could be, I think that Duke kid is by far the best player at the nba level, followed by that kid from Purdue. Holmgren is kind of like a poor man's porzingis. Porzingis is good, yeah, but he's not gonna change your franchise. But out of this draft, those two guys I mentioned are the ones I see making a difference at the nba level. Cunningham is probably the best player to come out of college since Morant.Cause Sleep is the Cousin of DeathComment -

#16The final shot was supposed to go to Manek. If you watch replay they had a screen setup for him to get an open look on the far side of the court, the only problem was Manek slipped and didn't get to his spot, otherwise it looks like he would've gotten that open look they drew up for him. Once Manek slipped the inbounder had to abort the play and just get the ball inbounds to anyone, which is why Love ended up taking that desperation shot.Comment -

#18Bacott's slip/ankle roll when they were down 1 was a heartbreaker and not surprising since I had UNC 100-1 and 77-1 and Love for 130-1....When does a team blow a fifteen point lead in a championship game? When I need them to win, that's when....See Falcons, but this was worse due to the abundance of futures, and the crappy hedge options I had....Kansas was only +325 at halftime...and then 2nd half starts predictably. They were treating Kansas like a 7-8 point fave. Moneyline kept going higher all day/under took a lot of money as well...Spread hardly moved though....Did they change the backdrop/sightlines?
The Jayhawks had a 5 on 4 "powerplay" opportunity and bailed UNC out with a timeout, which begs the question, did Bill Self do that out of sportsmanship, or did he not realize the Tarheels were down a man, and just wanted to gather up his troops for an important possession?Comment -

#19The Boxscore play-by-play does not show a timeout being called, but I was not watching the game. Maybe the coaching edge out of a timeout was something Self could not pass-up.Comment -

I was watching the game, but in a crowded environment, so I don't know what happened or what the announcers were saying, but a timeout was taken and only Kansas could've called a timeout in that situation.Comment -

#21Kansas stopped attacking so the refs called a timeout....I was kind of joking, but you could still make a case...Comment -
