My dad's 73 been working in a sheet metal shop with over 40 other guys since the beginning of this and he's had zero symptoms. All due respect to your family but for me it's been a different experience.

Those 40 guys could just be very lucky as it has not hit their network yet? Or maybe they all contracted it and didn't have any symptoms. Who knows for sure without adequate testing? I have friends who have not been impacted by Covid at all and I have others that have had families decimated. Neither of them are wrong or right, it's just their perspective. I saw for myself when I was in the hospital, healthy people going code blue and dying by the dozens. So, I didn't need to be convinced that this is a deadly virus. I also don't think I'm invincible. So, I limited my risk until I got vaccinated. Other people may feel it's best to get it and get over it. Or they will never get in contact with someone that has it? Their perspective is just as good as mine. But we should all empathize with people who have had to endure this.

The problem is they are saying the new variant is killing young people. Yet noone under 70 has died in my province in over 2 weeks.
