I hope Biden pissed off Russia. I don't know why Canada should be pissed off but Biden's priority is America first. Not just in words but in deeds. Biden has been the best thing to happen to the energy sector. Trump nearly collapsed the industry. Trump was one of the worst presidents for the industry. Just do your research, don't take my word for it. Look up energy companies the last 4 years. We don't do so well with $20 oil.

The problem is they are saying the new variant is killing young people. Yet noone under 70 has died in my province in over 2 weeks.

How do they explain that number? Again it is the most vulnerable we should be protecting. Young people should not be afraid to leave their basement.

I don't know why/when did we all of a sudden devalue the elderly? Just because someone is old, do we not care if they die from Covid? Oh he died from Covid but he was old anyway. That is sick. I posed the question a long time ago that would we have responded differently if Covid killed young people, especially babies? Would we have the same non caring value for life?

Many of them stayed home in their assisted living homes. How did that turn out for them?

I am hearing more and more stories of young people getting very sick. My friends in Brazil are really nervous with so many young people dying. Sorry to hear of your daughter's case and former employee. I've known too many people who have died in the last year. One friend lost his mom and dad 3 days a part. Both were relatively healthy. I also have a friend who's dad is 96 and got covid in a nursing home and recovered with no problem.

I've also known several people who gotten vaccinated and died 2 weeks later. One friends dad has been sick a lot but got the vaccine in Feb and died 2 weeks later. Another friends dad got the vaccine a few weeks ago and just died 2 weeks later. Hank Aaron and Marvin Hagler both died 2 weeks after the vaccine as well. So I have no idea what that's about. That is what is so baffling about this virus. It impacts people differently. So maybe the vaccine does the same? This virus seems more confusing than HIV/Aids when it first came out. You can't really get a straight answer from scientists because I don't think they really know.

I don't doubt there are exceptions. But for the vast majority it is sniffles or no symptoms.

Either way the States will be vaccinated by end of May and Canada will be vaccinated by 2023.

I'm starting to think health doesn't have much to do with covid. Yes, it is important to your final outcome of potentially dying but some very healthy people are having major issues. Mo Bamba and Jayson Tatum, both 22 struggled with covid. Yoan Moncado was killing the baseball until he got Covid. Myles Garrett was on track to lead the league in sacks, got covid and his production went to shit. Rudy Gobert, patient zero in the NBA still doesn't have his taste or smell. Tom Sweeney had to cancel his football season as he got myocarditis. Asia Durr, the 2nd pick in the WNBA draft, looks like her career is over due to covid and she's 23 years old. Scary... A nurse friend 30 years old that run triathlons and marathons got very ill from it. Yet a lot of unhealthy people have recovered from covid as well. I think it maybe more of blood type, or DNA or maybe certain mineral deficiencies like vitamin D that may prove to be more important. I'm really starting to think Vitamin D maybe a huge blocker. We need more research because right now, nobody seems to know much, especially the scientist.

I don’t think many people deny that it is out there, or that it can spread, I think it’s The overreaction that people have problems with. If I were over the age of 70 I might be afraid of cases or I might fear it spreading to me, but I’m under 50 years old and I don’t believe that your fear should ever have to be my fear.

I think every person has to weigh their own risk and make their own decisions. I was extremely cautious until I got vaccinated. I am normally not a vaxxer but I felt getting the vaccine would at least help prevent me from getting seriously ill, which is what concerned me most. Now that I am vaccinated, I've traveled, gone to the casino, baseball, football and basketball games. Indoor events, restaurants, etc. It's game on for me the last few months now. But I fully understand if someone does not want to get vaccinated or hide in their basement out of fear.

That being said they say alot of young people are in hospital in Alberta so who knows could be lagging indicator.

No, I do not think the government should force you to get vaccinated. The government should not pass any law or measure forcing you. I really don't think we should start labeling people as vaxxers either. It is a form of discrimination. I believe in religious freedoms and some people will not get vaccinated because of their religion. I am very clear on this. I'm not sure what I said to make you think different? This is why there's been so much confusion. A lot of people just didn't know anyone that got sick or died, so to them it felt like a hoax. It's not until someone you know or love is gasping for their last breath that it really hits you that this thing is real. You can't see it, smell it or taste it, so it is invisible. How can something invisible be so deadly? How easily does it spread? I think we are still trying to figure that out.

I think something is definitely going on with so many young people getting sick now. Maybe some mutant variant, I don't know but why are so many young people getting deathly ill now?

My dad's 73 been working in a sheet metal shop with over 40 other guys since the beginning of this and he's had zero symptoms. All due respect to your family but for me it's been a different experience.

they all came away stronger and happier

one had a raunchy fart at one point though

so far I know 7 people dead as a door nail from the vaccine. 11 seizures, 8 facial paralysis, 15 erectile dysfunctions and 33 people with mental illness now

I know a bunch of people that got Covid and no one died from it including me. Covid was always a joke. Less then 99% of people that contract it don't die.

The Covid virus attacks the really old and fat people only. Those are the ones that should only get vaccinated in my opinion.

Kids getting vaccine shots is a joke. Young healthy men and women also. Masks don't work either. We've all been lied to.
