With the latest 5 dimes scandal it’s leaving bettors with a bad taste in their mouth. If sports betting becomes legal in every state, more books will go under. The lines won’t be as good but it will be 100% safe.

Once every state goes legal California will be biggest easily. It's a numbers game and they have the highest population and most sports teams of any state. Nobody goes to Vegas anymore though, fukk Vegas. Pretty much every state has a legal state adjacent to it now. Numbers will grow yearly. It will get to the point where only the super bible belty states like Texas, Alabama and Georgia won't be legal and the rest of the states will be. California will destroy everyone though once they get it and I hate CA and I'm saying that. Fukk CA, fukk the eagles and fukk Vegas.

I just posted about changes over at the Five thread. Some states like shouse over here on the west coast will move in the right direction when hell freezes over. I remember asking my bosses at my house about 'Hey wow this will be awesome, you all can open a cool book here and everything will be all cool and peachy and stuff' yeah in 20 years... lol

One thing to keep in mind is that huge interest invests huge money in brick and mortar based on current gaming law so it is not so easy just to say 'Guess what, we are changing everything...' They invest massively based on expected conditions and opportunity over decades with a lot of risk.

FML if I would have to move to Jersey and I don't know if I could even swing LV with my situation. Would move outside 'Merica tomorrow if I could. Really it is just like so many of us trying to be a pro skier and reside in the desert. Better off just moving.

The Governor wants to sign a bill, the Mohegan and other the other tribe say sports betting is a casino game, and since the tribes have exclusivity to casino games in the state, sports betting has to go through them, it's sticky, but a deal could get done.

Then there's Sportech who operates all the OTB in the state, they want a piece of sports betting too, if there is ever some sort of agreement.

I would say no way. .guv does everything possible to crash everything to zero. Need money? For the common knowledge they can position like they need money, but they can press CTRL-P and print unlimited money. I have zero idea so many businesses will emerge from this other than total failure and bankruptcy, but it is on record already that the large, global, insider businesses are making more money than ever while taking all of hospitality and gaming to the bottom of the ocean.

Half of the country is a bunch of mind blown idiots that is taking the holocough to the bank to crash everything just like they are being told to do. So yeah, don't count on your wise benevolent leaders to have sports or anything related to gaming anywhere, but the bottom of the list.
