#39Michigan has online horse betting now which I have gone away from after being a pro for ever. Michigan is going to have sports betting once that happens and apps are available in Michigan that's where im retiring im just a year away thought for sure it was Boulder City but Traverse City Michigan im looking at now if Sports betting comp get the apps fired up.Cold or hot a snow or rain I like both.Comment -

#45I was born in NJ, can't move back these days though, the new taxes makes it next to impossible to live there.
Cost of living is astronomical.
Where I'm at it Connecticut though is centered almost perfectly.
I can drive to Boston in a couple of hours (traffic permitting) I can be in NYC in 90 mins.
Mohegan Sun which industry insiders say is the second nicest brick and mortar casino (and I agree) is less than an hour away drive from me.
Like I said, if Connecticut does approve a sports betting bill, I'd never leave my condo except for the casino.Comment -

Most offshore books, and that includes the reputable ones that pay can make you jump through hoops to get paid in a timely fashion.
If I'm at for instance the MGM book in Vegas and place a dime on the Steelers and they cover I can get paid in a matter of seconds at the window, what offshore books can pay me in a day?Comment -

#65I have one problem with offshore.

If I go to place a $1,000 bet at Resorts World Catskills they want to know my source of income and my occupation. Legal books want to know everything about you and also want to determine whether or not you can afford to lose the money you are wagering combined with the KYC and AML requirements.
While I'm a business professional, I make a substantial amount of my yearly nut from arbitrage/bonus arbitrage. Good luck finding those options with legal books. You have way more outs offshore to find better lines and I'd much rather deal with crypto anyways.
I've bet with the NJ/PA books and took all of their bonus offerings but unless I'm betting futures, I have no reason to bet with legal books. None.Comment -

#66you got it right this time but you changed your tune from last year. then it was a bust, that is okay you can change your mind.
these books are falling all over themselves to win the promo/odds boost fans. my goodness they are giving money away with lines of 50 plus on some games, good odds boost on pro foot and specials almost daily. yes, some you can only play 50 or 100 but so what it is free money. they aren't going to allow you bet 500 dollars with the Packers getting 51.
just recently read an investment article that claims this cannot continue and these shops being profitable at the same time. last year I wrote they would be having tremendous promos to knock the others down and that is what they did. I recently made an investment in draftings and it has had a tremendous growth.
these shops are a players paradise so far. plus with some you receive your WD the second day via banking. all positives so far except the vig and only a matter of time until one of them takes the leap.Comment -

#69Yay! NJ and PA have almost arrived. All we need now is legal weed and hookers. One at a time gentlemen. First we'll start on the weed angle. NJ and PA are both broke as fuk from the ** Tang Flu so I think this is a light lift in the next couple of years. Hookers on the other hand may take a few more years, but we'll get there.Comment -
