What's up with Dennis Rodman saying "a lot of people were doing a lot of illegal drugs. That's what it is, that's it" when talking about the championship to reporters. Rodman was transparent as hell throughout. Pretty sure MJ, Rodman etc. were all taking shit to help them perform out there. Other than that MJ still the GOAT.

Toni Kukoc and Ron Harper got shafted big time in this. Toni was 5/5 14 points in game 7 ECF vs. Indiana in 3rd quarter and kept the Bulls in range. Harper was also a beast for Chicago who didn't get much recognition.

Kukoc was a great player, and the last shot of game 5 was supposed to go to Toni and Jordan snatched it from him and threw up an air-ball. Can't blame MJ for wanting to take last shot of career but Toni could've ended it in 5.

The game has changed in 20 plus years. Now everyone doesn't play defense and the ball changes hands only twice before someone shoots the ball. Some of those Bulls baskets had 10-12 passes before the final shot was taken without any dribbling.

There was more emphasis on defense, guys didn't shoot many 3's, and a more half-court drawn out shot clock basketball style was played.

Yeah, no way it was acting. Never saw him do that before or after. He doesn't need the drama. Obviously he was hurling that day. But those things can recede quickly once it's out.

I never noticed that before they almost collided. But, Toni was going away from the basket; highly unlike he could have connected like that.

Kukoc was awesome. If he had been the star on another team he could have put up huge numbers. But Bulls don't win that last 3-peat without him.

The entire series was whitewashed Jordan approved propaganda. It was a bait and switch from the marketers as well. They claimed to have all this behind the scenes footage of the 1998 season and they hardly had any. You could watch YouTube highlights of Jordan and get 95% of this “doc”. I was expecting Hard Knocks or Last Chance U and got something very boring.

You can tell the source material was lacking when they hardly interviewed Jordan’s kids (who both played college basketball), 0 from Juanita, and very little commentary from opposing players. I fast forwarded thru Obama, Todd Boyd, and any other celeb. It was a waste of time.

A 10 hour doc on The Worm would have been far more entertaining. The only thing I learned from Last Dance was Pippen was a bitch then and he’s a bitch now.

I agree. Late 80s and 90s was a golden era of basketball. It was physical, intense, strategic, and every posesssion mattered due to lower scoring games.

Today’s NBA is how the Europeans were playing it in the 90s. Soft, up and down with no strategy, fire the first open 3 you get. It’s like watching the All Star game every night.

I only recently heard about his sister's accusations of her father. It's pretty messed up whether true or not. And I agree, I doubt Mr. Rogers son down the street is gonna be the next Babe Ruth.
