No completely disagree. Only reason evangelicals voted for Trump was for the Supreme Court. Maybe they would have voted for him all along for that reason but it can't have been an easy decision and Pence on the ticket was brought along to secure those votes as much as possibleComment -
Progressives aren't exclusive to two states. They're a massive voting bloc in the liberal base. I feel comfortable saying a significant amount of them will abstain if it's Biden + another establishment candidate

I agree he had the support but it was very reluctant support or at least that was the perception to Trump. He needed someone like Pence to get as many of them to turnout as possible. I like the odds of Val Demings at 8-1. May put some $$$ on it. VP candidates tend to be someone that’s out of the spotlight. Pence came out of nowhere. So did Cheney, Palin, Quayle, Gore, and Kaine. Once in a while You’ll get the spotlight pick like Biden, Edwards and Ryan but more times than not, it’s someone flying under the radar.
Also, Harris has too many skeletons in the closet. Record not the best. Not saying she necessarily won’t be the pick, but I don’t like the value.Comment -

I don't think he's going to go with Harris. She has too damaging a background. She got eaten by Gabbard on her AG record. To me, Demings makes more sense. She's the most logical choice and can help him in Florida. If he wins Fla., he gets the WH.
As for Michelle Obama, I don't think she wants to get into politics. That being said, I'm sure she's the first person he'd call. I just don't expect her to accept it.Comment
