Let's be honest... If a book cannot payout in 48hrs they are being mismanaged or worse
Are any books delaying payouts?

#37Don't say things you have no clue about. Any somewhat decent company should have client funds in a seperate account. Any company that blocks withdrawals because of liquidity issues now and survives will never see a dime of me again after this is over.Originally posted by Motorhead11Hope books block withdrawals for next 2 months. #39Speak to Nancy Diggins. She should be able to help you.Originally posted by caramba60 hrs since my 6k payout with Betonline was approved. They still haven't sent the funds and keep saying payment is in the finalizing stages. I'm not overly worried yet considering they are rated A+, but more annoyed with their live agents who are useless guessers that say funds will be sent within the next few hours when they have no idea on if this will happen. Will update once I have the funds.Comment -

#42Justbet/Bookmaker paid me 3K USD via bitcoin in 15 mins. Not bad.
But what is bad is that they lowered their limits and didn't even list the new limits in the cashier section. Hence I was trying a too high amount and not realizing it, giving me error messages again and again. Then only after contacting live chat I was told about the limits. And when I advised them to update the max. amount in the cashier, they said "good idea, I will pass it on". Mind boggling that they cannot think of that themselves

#44Honestly, it would be stranger if a bookmaker business kept enough in liquid cash that was accessible within 48 hours to cover all balances within 48 hours.Originally posted by Sam OdomLet's be honest... If a book cannot payout in 48hrs they are being mismanaged or worse
The majors have all managed to satisfy the early demand and I think it would be weirder to not see them throttling the flow and offering incentives to not add to the demand right now.
Sports are going to back sometime. The staff at these big offshores may end up suffering with layoffs in the mean time, but the books arent going anywhere with anyones money. Too much profit potential when life resumes for them to be let die..Comment -

#46I'm just guessing same as you Sam. But if you had a business running at about 10% of liability in withdrawals per month, would you have a lot more than that 10% just held as instant accessible? Or maybe buy bonds or invest some fixed term etc?Originally posted by Sam Odom

#49books should be able to pay no matter what. they have your money already. the liability is on them then to pay if you want to withdraw. this includes having funds available to pay like before. excuses really don't fly if a book is managed right.
a bookie expects you to pay when you lose and will pay you when you win. that needs to carry thru to offshore. difference being you already pay as if you lost first with offshore.
a casino doesn't say they can't pay you even if they had an abnormal amount of winners that night. trust is killed when a book knows to take money but has trouble giving it back.Comment -

#55Difference between a bank and a book though is the business model of a bank is to make money by using their deposits as the source of funding for loans that earn interest so it's not expected they have the full balance of deposits on hand (otherwise they can't offer loans). However, that's why our deposits have FDIC insurance in case of a run that's too big for a bank to handle.Originally posted by lonnie55Banks should be, too, but if everybody withdraws his money, we all know what happens.
Books though should have a bettor's money on hand. They do not make loans to bettors and their profits are supposed to come from the vig on the lines they post. There's no reason they shouldn't have the vast majority of balances available to payout.
The books that have a decent poker room and casino (Bovada, BOL) should be able to weather the storm since they can use the revenue from those two sources to keep the lights on. Any books that rely majority on sports betting will be in trouble if this keeps going.Comment -
