Hope you are right, just opened my February statement and tossed it in the corner. Bumpy until the world settles down. I am not as optimistic as you but I am a cynic by nature. Just not feeling it. Fed moves are theater to me, a typical reaction to an atypical problem.

It's not about being optimistic, I'm looking at the numbers and what happens when you see these numbers in the past. There are bullish divergences in the indexes and exchanges, washout numbers on the 200 day moving averages, and look at the bullish percent indexes:

Clinton: Booming economy

Bush Jr: Economic Disaster (greatest loss of wealth in earth's history)

Obama: Saves economy and leaves it killing

Trump: Inherits economy, greatest loss of Dow in earth's history and signs towards major recession.

Next Prez? Hmmm.

When will you people ever learn? Leaving money in the pockets of middle america and poorer Americans actually helps the economy because they can afford shit and have expendable income. Giving tax breaks to the top 5% does nothing but more hoarding of money.

If CME is correct, the Fed would have cut interest rates by 1.25% this month. 1.25% of 23 trillion is nearly 300 billion, so that would have to be a pretty substantial tax cut that the democrats would have to agree with.
