I’d guess the surplus of oil coupled with people not traveling, companies not producing or shipping. Everything is coming to a standstill. The market is flooded with oil nobody needs right now. The question is how long will this last, I’d guess 1-3 months depending on how bad Covid-19 hits the US.

If you already have stock you sit on it and ride it out.. Market will rebound when Virus dies out..

People with cash now and looking to invest, look into solid company stocks that took the biggest hits since the Virus news broke. Invest when you think the timing is right and bottomed out.. Get paid then after when the rebound happens...

Just that simple not rocket science!!

Buy stocks on Wednesday. Tomorrow is going to be a crash. Not only was futures halted at -5%, but the bid/ask bids on the SP500 futures is currently at 5,000 asks, and 33 bids....what that means is the price will need to go down substantially (well below the -5% we are currently at ) to get all those sell (ask) orders filled.

Tomorrow will probably be a -7 to -10% day, which will make it the worst day on Wall Street since 1987.

Really you should wait until you have a full washout before you buy stocks. Wait until the percent of stocks above the 200 day moving average is under 20 and the bullish % is under 20.

It is my opinion that sharp up moves will be met with down moves, for now, so FOMO shouldn't be factor.

If you use thinking like guitar josh above to guide back into the market, you'll realize we have a ton of upside and don't have to time the bottom. We can get in when there's volume and support heading upward, plenty of room to profit.

We don't have to buy at the bottom and sell at the top, we can benefit from a large range in between there. Again, no rush, no FOMO, stay calm and be patient.
