How much of that spending is debt? How long is that debt going to last? Did you forget 08?

More than 1/2 this country makes 30k or less a year. 44% make 18k or under. Now I know Christmas just passed & parents want to get that toy for their child. But are you sure about that all time high? Can people afford to service those debts. Any answers from Wall St. beside lend them more?

grease it was sort of like when w gave the poor a tax refund. the poor spent that money and it looked good but was nothing more than a sugar high. if this economy was so great than why is our national deficit exploding?

Because they cut taxes (revenue to the govt) and they are spending like mad. Short term that is good on the economy and everyone benefits. Now long term....

You guys remember when I was waving the red flag that Trump was going to be a negative on the economy during the election?

Well I was wrong. I am not saying this because I view the world through my own situation like others here are appearing to. It is because it is a fact that the economy has been very resilient and although data was slowing earlier last year and we had an earnings recession, the numbers have gotten better in the past few months and earnings growth is expected in 2020.

I don’t like Trump to this day. I have no respect for him, but you cannot deny facts.

the only reason you think the economy is good is because everyone is spending instead of saving. They gave money back to the corps to buy back their stock but as i said it is a sugar high. Also you think the economy is good is because they are playing games with interest rates. If they allowed rates to be what they should be we would be in a recession. All they are doing is prolonging the good feeling. I had my series 6 and 7 before i got sick and know a little about economics. Ps was up 40% in the market last year. Just bought vir and inio because of this flu shit
