The weather not gonna cooperate to play the Illini/Purdue over I don’t think, seeing 60% rain and gusty winds. Bummer., maybe bottom will fall out of total a little and it won’t be so bad but as of now looks like I won’t be playing it. Really liked that one too.

I know San Jose St and Army play at noon, but how does that game not go over 53.5? Gotta think Army can put up at least 38. I kinda like SJSU's qb. They can put up at least 21-24 points. No? Lost value from opening number, but I think that was real low at 50.

I like Purdue to roll. Not much reasoning other than I really like Purdue when they’re home, and Illinois is still trash. Could call it a let down spot, but don’t think that matters much. Team is probably still flying high and Lovie will have them ready. Won’t matter as I don’t see them stopping Purdue much. Full disclosure, I grew up always taking Purdue on my parlay cards so I could watch them at noon. They were good to me so that I could keep the action going. Best thing was making it to the late game that I’d take. Man I miss the days of my pops getting me two cards to play and throwing down 5 bucks on each for me so I had a chance to hit a 4 teamer to win 50 bucks. Sometimes go for the elusive 5 teamer and the big money. Worst thing was losing on Saturday and not having an NFL card going so no action on Sunday. Tried to go all college on one and an all pro on the other, but was easier to hit a two and two. Life was much simpler then. I should start printing off cards and hand them out at work. My luck those dweebs would all hit. Not really worth it as the payoff wouldn't be much even if they all missed.

ur kidding around I hope. army doesnt pass avg. 10 pass attempts per game its normally way less than that but theyre a lot worst this year than last couple years and when they do they only complete 40% of them and oh yeah sjsu leads the nation in interceptions. sjsu is way better against the run and pass than the team army just lost to, georgia st.

I won’t get in osu way but I really disagree it doesn’t matter. That Illini loss really fukked anyone who wanted to back osu. Sucked all the value out of line. I can’t see laying 2 tds but I’m not betting it.

So question for you Miami guys. As I mentioned in 1st post I lean canes this week. Forecast calling for rain how does that effect canes?? Neither team gonna have much success rushing in this game imo. Both with stout run defenses. Love panthers front 7, it been why we been on them so much but I think panthers kinda turnover prone which obviously plays into canes hands. Just don’t know how well I can expect canes to throw ball in rain?

FWIW I think Perry is gonna start and I think he's the better QB. But no Thomas hurts and their OL is so bad going against a strong Pittsburgh DL. This looks like a game with turnovers galore. Hard to handicap

Why line move in favour of Purdue here? I don't get it, if there's going to be bad weather, then that favours the team that runs the ball i.e. Illinois

Brohm is almost allergic to running it, their OL sucks run blocking which is probably why they're 129th in running percentage. Their passing game is ok with Plummer improving, David Bell good freshman receiver but Rondale Moore still out. With bad weather, just how successful will they be throwing it?

Good question. I actually leaned that way at 8 early on but kinda got talked out of by someone I respect. Throughout that discussion it made me like over a great deal but that was obviously before the weather concerns and I agree with you. I think it prob because Purdue has started looking pretty good lately and maybe ppl fading Illini off the big win? But your guess as good as mine.

I don’t trust weather men further than i can throw them so I’m still on wait and see with the weather but I think I’m with your thoughts here, if the weather keeps me off the total I’ll be very interested in lovie’s squad.
