The offensive line is just so awful that we can’t do anything we try to. Can’t run, can’t get enough time to complete a pass. The play calling is trash. They aren’t helping out and getting the ball out quickly enough. May be better off with our backup in. FSU should have the athletes to put pressure on the pass game, and stop our measly running game. The Cuse D isn’t terrible though. They will put up a fight, but they usually give up big third down plays which break their back. Akers should be able to run, which allows them to negate the strength of the D, the edge rushers. Secondary has holes in it, and when we drop into a zone there’s usually an opening. We will see if the FSU QB can take advantage. Only concern here would be if FSU can score enough to cover. Wouldn’t be surprised to see the Cuse put up only 10-14 points here. FSU should be able to get to 27 or so. I guess I wouldn’t pound FSU, maybe, but strong lean here on them covering. Especially at 9.5 or better. FSU has done well enough at home to expect them to show up here. Raw talent alone should be enough to do it. Cuse is in total meltdown mode, and struggling at some spots to even find players that can compete.Comment -

Wku +5., kicking myself for being late missing the 6 but I don’t think it matters.,, this game all about defense and I think it be close., defense travels and wku brings in a very good one!
Main difference I see is wku despite not so good offense they are pretty good on 3rd down converting over 40% of the time, Marshall defense not good at getting off the field allowing damn near 47% conversion rate coming in at 107 in the country! On the other side wku ranks in the top 10 nationally only allowing opponents to convert 28.5% of their 3rd downs facing a Marshall offense that ranks 86th picking them up. Wku can sustain drives while Marshall will struggle to stay on the field.
Historically we are been winning this game recently but wku covers virtually every year. Marshall has name recognition and is seemingly always overvalued in this matchup. I think wku wins outright this year but I’ll happily take the points in a game they should be at a premium.Comment -
