Gold Gloves can't always account for a players fielding. Just look at Jeter. Boggs was a poor choice when he did win his two Gold Gloves. Weak at defense in his early years, but did improve a lot during his time in Boston and would have been an ok choice to win a couple his last few years with them. Overall, below Schmidt, Brett, and Mathews on defense.Comment
