Value on Durant to win the MVP at 18-1
The most likely outcome after game 1 and 2 is a split, and Curry has struggled in the finals against teams that get physical with him. Durant should be back for game 3 and he is obsessed with being the number one player in the league, and if he guards Leonard and scores 30-40 a game he should have a good chance to win MVP. Durant is capable at 7 feet tall of playing strong defense and his length should give Leonard problems. Durant hears everyone talking about how Leonard has been the best player in the league, he should step up if healthy.

Risking .5 units to win 9 units

I like it. He’s going to try and change the running narrative which is GS is better without him. Best way to do that is win the Finals MVP, which would be his third kn three years

Not that I care, Leonard won finals MVP after being irrelevant in games 1 and 2, and that was in a 5 game series

If you listen to his interview he sounds like he will play, his injury is a calf injury, I think he plays. The Warriors are notorious for lying about injuries.

All the talk about Leonard being the best player in the playoffs this year - this will be Durant's chance to show he's #1 with Lebron not even making the playoffs this year and Giannis getting exposed against toronto.

I think they are more interested in bringing cousins back because Tor has some big bodies and they need to help Draymond

Cousins can't guard anyone, they won't likely have him on the court much in the 4th even if he comes back, their best lineup is with Green at the 5, the death lineup.

Durant argues with 12 year old kids about who the best player in the game is- he's not sitting out if he can play. He desperately wants to show how good he is on the biggest stage.

Ok but what if they look good and get at least a split in Toronto as I suspect they will?? I just can’t see this asshole sitting out while dubs win it. I actually think this is your squads best chance to win series if he comes back and disrupts dubs rhythm.

I can’t imagine he will be able to come back and play his best against khawi with a long layoff and prob not at 100%. Again not saying dubs better without him but don’t think they worse either and I do think throwing him back into the mix could disrupt the flow they have going at the moment...

While we talking does nba still do that stupid
2-3-2 format in the finals? I hate that!!

I actually agree w you 100% on this one. I don’t think there any chance his ego could take watching dubs win without him..

This 1st time I’ve ever rooted for dubs when he got hurt!! If he comes back I hope they lose, if he stays out I hope they win. Can’t stand this coward since he pulled that bitch move and signed on with the team who beat him!!!

NBA injury reports mean nothing, Embiid as doubtful multiple times before playing and the Warriors have always been conservative with injuries going back to Curry's ankle injuries.

Durant is traveling to Toronto, I think that's a good sign even though I doubt he plays in game 2

Steve Kerr made it pretty clear yesterday that bringing guys in at this stage ruins things. Sure Durant wants to prove they need him and they want to prove they don't. I just don't think he will play in this series and my money is on Tor because of that. This is the one series where they need him. Kawhi will become a roaming defender and that works too the raptors advantage

                                                            18-1 for a good reason.

Even if he plays he will not be a big factor against Kawhi's defense.

The Warriors have dealt with guy coming in and out of the lineup in the playoffs in the past, its never been a big deal. Durant has been out several weeks, not months.
