Cammaleri to Montreal, 5 years 30 million, seems about right.

Well I'm REALLY glad you aren't GM.
Kopitar's rookie season he scored 61 points in 72 games...
2nd season he was almost a point per game with 32 goals and 45 assists..
Last season in a frustrating year for the whole team due to Murray instilling a DEFENSE FIRST system AND without top flight talent around him Kopitar still had 27 goals and 39 assists (66 points)
AND he's only 21 years old. How is he not working out???

Cammy to Montreal makes perfect sense... another me-first skill player with no toughness.

I never said I would get rid of him right now...I do think his production this next year should decide whether he stay or leaves though. My point was that the kings need 6 solid forwards, which they never have

I'd rather it state "Francouis Beauchemin sign with Penguins." But either way.

Ok, that isn't awful, but a little high, IMO.

Agreed, but in this market it could be worse. At 27, perfect age to sign a D-man to a 5 year deal.

Steve Sullivan stays with Nashville, 2 years 3.75 per season, seems a little bit high to me.

Again, gotta remember the market... and I like the 2 year term. I'd rather pay a little extra and have him for 2 years then give him a longer deal I think.

True, it's not like Nashville is close to the cap either, he was probably worth more to the Preds than any other team in the league.

Pahlsson to Columbus, 3 years 2.65/per. LOVE that signing. Pahlsson is one of the most underrated defensive centers in the game. Good fit for Hitchcock.

I wouldn't say he is underrated, he won the selke trophy a few years back....its common knowledge that he is one of the top defensive forwards

Leafs needed to add toughness to their team. Komisarek will get the crowd going with his big hits. He is a solid defenseman and fits Burkes player model.

Oh god, the Gaborik deal is actually 5 years 7.5 million per year.
Yep, that sounds a lot more like a Ranger deal.

Brian Gionta to Montreal, 5 years 25 million. Gainey fukks up again.
The Habs are acquiring small centermen and slow defensemen, what an awful day for them.

The players the Habs are signing are going to smaller than the players that win the Quebec Peewee Torunament this year.
