Emery has a world of talent, that much is true.
But goaltending is a position that requires an extreme amount of mental strength as well, and Emery has shown time and time again that he doesn't have the poise to be "the guy" for any team.
I'm rooting for him, I always like to see players overcome their personal demons, but if the Flyers really think he's the answer, they will very likely be disappointed.Comment -

Its one thing to say that the RAIDERS suck and will continue to suck. Because yeah, as long as Al Davis is cluelessly running the place, no matter how much talent we get he will ruin with a rotating-door of coaches and terrible signings.
The Kings meanwhile have made huge strides, and that's okay that you don't know that because you don't follow hockey, but don't make blanket statements like "they have sucked and always will suck" if you don't know anything about the way they run the team. Like Chicago and Pittsburgh did, Lombardi is building the team the right way from the ground up, and in another year or two they won't "suck" anymore.Comment -

If they think hes the answer yes they are nimrods. I think they are relying on the defense this season. The offense is already in tact, and has been for 2 seasons now. Let me ask you a question Dave? What makes you think i dont follow hockey. Wasnt Dean Lombardi the man in San Jose at one time and put good young talent there yet they keep choking away. When the kings win anything(a division title even) let me know . I dont care how many young players he has brought in. The bottom line is that the kings turned to my team the flyers and have hextall and murray there doing all the work. Hextall is considered one of the best minds in the game. Sur ethe kings have some good young players but when you draft near the top every year you should have them .
