Last chance at an attempt to find some genuine sports debaters.......
    for several months.
    Big challenge and big question?

What NFL player is considered to be the GOAT?
    * No cheating by studying NFL stats.

I want your opinion, right from the gut!

*Prove to me, this is not just another "Cult following website?"

Give me your #1, #2, and #3 choices, and see how close you come?

White QBs should run more rather than throwing the ball

Very good, but no, is the answer for #1. Even though I agree, Montana was the greatest QB. #2 is right on and LT is the best ever for the Giants.

I've only been watching since the mid 90's so this is just an opinion with very little strength behind it. 1. Brady 2. Elway (the guy won back to back Super Bowls to end career) 3. Ray Lewis and 4. Randy Moss

My overall best for one game all or nothing is Farve.

Elway is considered the best Denver Bronc, but's that's it.
One I firmly disagree on is for the Dolphin's greatest. No way for Marino. No SB's

                                Hmm, forever the rebel.
PICK your choice, screw the experts. The GOAT, just as you would pick the most influential basketball, baseball?

players typically do the same thing in those sports at least offensively except pitchers, football too many positions that do different things. why cant the goat be a beast O-lineman or defensive end, just saying. qb, only guy on team that does the specific thing that he does, thats kinda discriminatory so just think by position makes more sense.

The only undefeated Super Bowl winners:
4 - Terry Brandshaw, Joe Montana

                                              1. Tom Brady - no-brainer

                                              2. Barry Sanders - Would be NFL's all-time rusher if he hadn't retired. We've yet to see a player as exciting or who single-handedly made defenses look foolish. The Michael Jordan of RB's.

                                              3. Tossup between guys like Joe Montana, Walter Payton, Jerry Rice, and others.

Peyton Manning. Never saw a player do more with less talent, player or coaching wise. It can be debatable that we might have never held Tom Brady or Joe Montana in the esteem we do now without them having Bill Belichick and Bill Walsh respectively. Manning was consistent, no matter who the coach, or the talent around him was. Manning's importance showed in the era between him and Andrew Luck. The Colts had no leadership on the field, or true direction.

The fact that Peyton was able to come back from a serious injury, and become the only starting quarterback to win a Super Bowl with two different teams shows his perseverance and true competitiveness. How many times did you NOT see him looking at overhead photos of formations on the sideline while the defense was on the field? The man was always locked in. He was a better coach on the field than the head coach on the sidelines.

Peyton lost too many big games - Montana Super Bowl stats is flawless fella
