Sorry Chico I didn't know you weren't feeling well. I hope that you are feeling better real soon and able to resume in your previous capacity.

As for the markets, I stepped in to short the QQQs yesterday, and today if things break badly I'll be adding to my IWM short play. I picked up some DKNG yesterday which I may dump and wait for the downslide to halt before jumping back in.

New swing: ACCO@9, office supply play...been looking for a value play to benefit from returning to the office. Banks and many other offices are requiring their lower level employees to return, teachers will have to go back, this is a good 3 month swing leading into summer.

If you own LQDT do not sell...the actual insolvency event hasn’t occurred yet and I still believe it’s going to +$50 once all said and done

I listened..bought many of the growth stocks in disruptive industries (insurance, advertising, AI, etc.). That whole growth sector has gotten mauled. Nothing to do but hold now. Will play your real time live tips moving forward with new powder.

2021 my game plan is to trade value, Re-opening momentum...but the most bullish sector for me throughout the year and maybe through next year is Oil/Gas...the charts all showing multi-year and in some cases 8 year breakouts...it’s the perfect contrarian play from the Solar energy hype coming into Biden administration. But the demand has no where to go but up and the supply is bound to continue to experience constraints.

as far as innovation...this is a secular 5-10 year trade. I don’t think half the low cap speculative companies will ever see their 2020 highs again. That’s why I said, multiple times when the rates started spiking I was consolidating into only my highest conviction holdings. In my experience that is the only way one is willing to hold through multiple years of pain. Unless the cash flow plateaus or drops just keep feeding what may be a multi year accumulation phase.

IV way up. Was holding 60% cashing waiting for an IV pop. Sold a bunch of strangles for the sweet premium today on blue chip stocks with high IV rank.

sold back a spy put debit spread for a nice profit with the IV expansion. sold a call credit spread on spy and qqq to now take advantage of the high premium. Getting my delta back to neutral. trying to get short delta but so much downside pressure is making it hard.

Kind of expecting a little bounce today sometime. Then I'll be giving them another beat down with the qqq short play. The IWM short is a long term thing so I'll wait for the end of the week or a daily close under the 208ish level before pounding that harder, and remember the XLF, well that one is setting up for a long term short play. Just looking for a weekly close BELOW $36.00 that will confirm an outside reversal. It still has a little work to get there but we'll see what happens after today's relief rally.

Don't forget today's PPI report comes out, and if it breaks bad, it could be a lights out day for the bulls. If they totally fake it and it comes in less than expected, it could be a rip you a new one relief rally, so day traders either way should have an exciting day.

Crypto is going to sink. I don't know when though. This correction is nothing. It can easily go back up and then in 3 months the entire crypto market can pop. Or it can keep going down now. Bitcoin is not worth anything more than 15k a coin.

Good luck brother. I fear that all the growth has already been factored in and people don't really have a sense of what the true market cap and value is for crypto. If ethereum crosses over 10k, it will be worth as much as amazon.

We’ll see. I’m higher on Cardano than Ether. They’ve acrually weathered this storm well and gone up while every other crypto has gone down the past 12 hrs so I think that says something about the strength of it. At just 1.80, I think it’s the best steal out there in the crypto world and love how it’s going under the radar. Those are the ones that have success. Gotta get them before they becomes big news.

Crypto mining and the overhead on the environment is the gorilla in the closet. Today was a microcosm of what could be to come.

Picked up 1000 shares of FLR at $18.30 just before the close today. It closed at $18.93. There is more to go, they got smacked around pretty hard today after announcing they are offering special shares to raise money. Stock got as low as $18.10 about 10 minutes before the close before some buyers like me came in to stop the killing. Closed yesterday at $23.78.
Basically they got beat up today and it is over done, this is a quick couple of days to a week trade for me and I suspect they will recover to the $22 area sooner rather than later.

i've done both and while i enjoyed success in spurts at college football and college hoops i have done WAY better in stocks with WAY less knowledge than i have of CFB and CBB from a fundamental handicapping standpoint. if you dollar cost average at preset intervals only when a stock goes down, it is nearly impossible to lose money over time given the situation that you have a time horizon of at least 3 years

i've done both and while i enjoyed success in spurts at college football and college hoops i have done WAY better in stocks with WAY less knowledge than i have of CFB and CBB from a fundamental handicapping standpoint. if you dollar cost average at preset intervals only when a stock goes down, it is nearly impossible to lose money over time given the situation that you have a time horizon of at least 3 years

Looks like the dead cat bounce continues into the weekend. No surprise there as Fridays lately have been all about the float. One of these days it wont be and eventually one Friday the market will get killed. Will it happen today, probably not. They're going to open above the break down candle from Wednesday, and probably float up to the 20 DMA in the SPY. That's how I see it. Over in the QQQs they will be jumping over the 100 DMA, but then there is the 50 and the 20 right just north all in a log jam of resistance. I think we see it end up somewhere in the middle of all of these moving averages but up on the day.

What happens if it is a gap and crap curtesy of the Trick, Trap, Fool and Fuk You crew this morning, when is it going to fall through? This one is easy, hourly closes below the low on Wednesday (404) spell big trouble for the SPY, and over in the QQQ country that number is around 316, but also really around 310ish.

Overall I’m bullish right now, In the US taxes are out of the way and positioning for quadruple witching should be occurring for next month. I’ll be looking to buy any weakness in XLB XLE XLF, I believe now that indoor and outdoor restrictions are lifting we will see much more movement in XLY XLP as well.

should see a short term run on XLK before another Dik punch, so you can trade tech up from here but I’d have a short leash
