Blockchain wallet is a independent wallet that you have complete control over.

Coinbase is an exchanger with a wallet attached that you have no control over.

If you choose to send from SBR or a book or some other place where you have no control over their wallet... and ask them to send your bitcoin to another wallet you have no control over, then if something goes wrong you cant even see what is happening let alone do anything.


Don't be lazy like Mike... use your own wallet that you control as your central/main wallet. Just get in the habit.

That said, what Mike said is probably true right now as well and you can just send direct from SBR or Book to Coinbase and nothing will happen... but we cant know that for sure.

SBR will send it to any address you give them to send it too.

SBR can send it to your blockchain wallet if that is the wallet you give them to send to.

Yes blockchain.info/wallet is good. You are 100% in control and they dont care what you do with it. This is the wallet you use to receive bitcoin withdrawals from books and send from when depositing. You cannot buy bitcoin from blockchain.info or sell it though. Its not an exchanger, it is just a wallet.

That is why you need Coinbase to withdraw (or a similar company like Gemini or ItBit or Kraken) because Coinbase will sell you new bitcoin for US$. And Coinbase will also buy your bitcoin and transfer the US$ to your bank account.


There are other alternatives. Blockcahin.info/wallet and Coinbase.com are just the common ones a lot of people get started with.

Ah the Americans had to deal with only us being able to buy Sportsbook Cash for the last few years. And being able to go pro with a simple book referral signup when they have to pay $100 to charity.

doesn't anybody realize that there might be legal implications in SBR's decisions?
