Has there ever been a better Field General performance than Namath in SB3?

One note about the late part of that game. BALT trailed 16-0 b4 scoring the TD. Why not go for 2?

The one rule Diff at time btw NFL vs AFL was the 2-pt try. AFL had it, NFL didn't. Leagues agreed no 2-pt try for the Super Bowl.
