I don't read too much into ratings unless you are talking about a ridiculous rating. Some of the toughest courses I played in college weren't rated that tough. Most people that give a guy shit about not playing the tips when you tell them you shot in the 60s, not directing this at you, just say that because they couldn't touch that score in their lifetime. At the end of the day any 60s round, I don't care where it was shot, is a good round. You can go play a goat track but you still have to hit the shots.Comment -

#45I play both tees philly, if you play your home club from the same tees every time you end up hitting the same few clubs and know the exact yardage on every shot. This is the reason most scratch players, who like to act tough, can't even break 80 on other courses. You have to be able to hit all the clubs in your bag and hit them regularly. I will even take driver out of the bag once a week.

#46Golfers are great storytellers as they leave out many many details when they move the ball for a better lie and they usually subtract five shots from their scoreComment -

#47Funny, like i said i wasn't directing that comment at him just generalizing. I like philly and he is right not the toughest track in the world but if he wants to come here and play to see what he can put I will get him on for free for the week.Comment -
