Shot 69 with a double bogey at the 17th, my drive unfortunately caught the cart path and hit the water. I have played well for a month but couldn't score. Damn I feel like a gangster

Nice job, Unde. That is not easy, man. The key to a great round like that is putting every shot together. It's never just putting, or approach shots, or driving. It's all of it including scrambling when needed.

Thanks Otters, its been a long time coming, I wanted to play well in the 4th tourney but a 77 on day one destroyed those dreams. I have been waiting for all the practice to come through and it finally did today. It was so effortless it seemed after all the pressure I have put on myself in the last month and a half. The feeling of getting all the skeletons off my back is priceless.

take it easy, i am trying to mount a comeback. i would have to consistently shoot that to be anyone, i will probably try and qualify for the U.S. Amateur which is coming up mid August at a club I have played well at before but there are many very good players that at this point are better than I am.

Don't be so hard on yourself. Golf is a hard, difficult game. It's designed for failure. You did very well and should celebrate it and be back tomorrow ready to fire again. Enjoy your night.

But...you have to remember there are times where you shot a 72 and it really easily could have been a near 80...

gotta stay humble...the chit always evens out in the long run!

Funny I know this, the best round I ever shot was a 72, started +7 after 7. When you ask someone what the best round they ever played they always tell you the lowest round, which may be true in some cases, but not always the case.

It is fukin awesome, right off the lake, actually the lake nine is all along the lake, the championship 18 is the one across the road. It doesn't get much better if you like scenery. Lake to the left, mountains to the right

You were in what is called the White Zone. This is where skill level meet proper brain and body relaxation so you can play at your best. Try to visualize the way you played today so hopefully you can play like that again. I have been in the zone a few times and it is great.
