sure he can buy a semi auto and it can be modded but it's very difficult to mod, he likely had help. Semi auto is entire different gun then auto. Semi auto you still have to load, you can't fire rapid shots with a semi auto.

I could see that with the hunting rifles I guess. I know a lot of hunters as well and I seems they accumulate them over the years. It just seems to me with all the damage they can do the checks should be extensive. I mean what really is the rush for someone buying a gun? If someone has a legit use for a gun like hunting or defense, then by all means they can have them by right. You're never going to stop 100% of the bad guys, but you can cut some of the damage. I read the Nevada gun laws. They are a joke.
