I don't believe in banning guns BUT we have to find a way to get a lot of guns off the street and especially out of the hands of violent criminals and the mentally unfit. An idea I have, which won't be popular but install an RFID tag system on every gun. A simple stamp that is like a gps locator. That way, law enforcement can immediately know if a gun is in the area. The gun manufacturers would be responsible to install the id. Imagine a police force being able to use a gun motion locator and immediately tell where the threat is, similar to the locators in the Aliens movie. Outside of that, force the manufacturers to reduce the fire power of most guns and especially reduce the amount of explosiveness of bullets. Tax the shit out of it, so the price of bullets go up as well. It's too easy and cheap to get a gun. Corner the market so that guns are prohibitively too expensive for most people.Comment -
