MATIC doubles in another 4 days so it has quadrupled in a little over a week. I think this coin is really going places due to the investment from Coinbase Ventures. I see a lot of money in these pumps.

The problem with this coin is that it appears like a pump-and-dump coin. The price sharply sold off from 136 Satoshis to 92 on May 14.

This makes it hard to set your stops. I got in at 98 and my stop loss had me existing due to the price going down. No problem, I thought, since I could still get in at 100. Well later on the price goes to 92 and my stop loss was 108 but I was still out because I thought it was pump-and-dump.

Then it recovers the next day and I'm back in. I set my stop a little looser this time. Today it was up to 210.

MATIC still on a monster roll. +57% last 24 hours.

I haven't seen anything like this in over a year.

I happen to think it will be offered on another main crypto exchange and when people on that exchange can buy it the price will continue to go up.

My favorite guess would be that it will be listed on Coinbase.com. They only have 4 coins listed: Bitcoin, Ethereum, Bitcoin Cash and Lightcoin. Listing MATIC on their web page would open it up to multiples of volume.

It scares me when it gets like that. This may sound strange but I always cheer when it has a correction from a steep climb like that. I've seen where some coins have a steep climb like this and then crash all the way down. It's healthy to have a 10% correction after climbing this high and sure enough it did so all is good.

Take a look at the history of the pumps on this coin. It has a mild correction and then it goes back up later.

in this market if i held MATIC i would personally sell at least 50% of my position now and wait for a correction and if i liked the project get back in then... or id just take my profits and run, nothing goes up forever ive learned this time and time again, its tough to see when greed gets involved weve all been there haha

Good advice. This is why you have a stop-loss which was triggered here for me.

What a wild ride! Great profit. My only regret was that I didn't sell when MATIC started dropping from the top like in Raiders' picture. I guess I still held out hope it would continue shortly after. However, now I am in a position to accumulate even more should it go up.

On a related note, I am now selling my coins into BNB inatead of BTC. I will continue to add to my BNB holdings until it has a significant correction in the BNB/USDT market. I have faith it won't based upon what I mentioned back when I first invested in it and that is that it is a good investment because it is Binance's native coin (which shot up recently).

I did similar to what you did. I had 4 stops in place and 2 kicked in. Unfortunately, I jumped in later than you did.

Binance is having problems today. I went to sell my position and the trade didn't show up. I went into my account and still showed link coins. About 20 mins later it showed BTC in my account. In other words it is taking a long time to show up.

It sure is! So is LINK. Taking off right now. I have my finger on the Sell button though when things like this take off.

I like to remember your picture you posted of MATIC above. When the rate of increase gets that big you can almost always be sure there will be a big correction. I think you have the 12 hour chart. I like to look at the 1 Day chart. If the bars are straight up, I keep a close stop-limit.

I was looking at it since it's been going up recently. However, the price is all over the place so it's a pass for me. Once the price settles down I may take another look at it.

One coin I invested in today is TFUEL and got in at 0.00000527. It just opened at 6am Eastern today. It's been going up after the initial push.

Hopefully at 6am Eastern Saturday morning people will be waking up to see that this coin has gone up 25%-40% in the last 24 hours and will hit it causing the price to go up even more. We'll see.

I have a clarification to make. A few days ago I mentioned I would be trading in BNB coin when I bought or sold on Binance rather than BTC. The price above of 527 was in BNB. The equivalent BTC price is 0.00000220, or I'll call it 220 Satoshis. It's now at 285 and had gone as high as 309 a couple hours ago.

Crypto talk is fun + all. One needs to grasp the volatility on this stuff. If u think in terms of RISK-ADJUSTED Return, you need to have a big edge to take stands on Cryptos.

My point is that the EV may well be + and well to the +. But the variance is astronomical. You need balls the size of Jupiter to take a stand + say "I'm all in on Crypto."
