Not what I'm trying to do. My point is that the world and technology are constantly changing/improving. My personal opinion is that bitcoin will be replaced with something else eventually. What that will be exactly is anyone's guess.

Right now Bitcoin is seriously flawed with scalability and couldn't be adopted by the masses because it just can't handle a large volume of transactions.

Also, should something change with regard to internet gambling in the US bitcoin would become an afterthought to most. Imagine if Neteller came back to the US market and all the sportsbooks offered it?

Right now, it's best use is a "store of value". Digital gold. Something to be put in cold storage for a rainy day. It will always have that going for it (for the foreseeable future). If the Lightning network and other upgrades improve it, then it becomes more versatile. You are correct - there's better tech than Bitcoin (right now) - Litecoin, Bitcoin Cash, XRP, Stellar are all better/faster/cheaper and even platforms such as Ethereum, EOS and Tron that are not really intended to be currencies can do what Bitcoin does and do it better. Bitcoin has the first mover/name recognition even though it is the doddering old grandpa that lives in the basement.

If investing in crypto is not gambling, I'm not sure what is. Results are measured in months & years, not daily. Definitely not an action junkie bet, though, eheh.

If one's only use for BTC is sports gambling, then, until it is replaced, one should hope for its good health.... "We" certainly hear about it when BTC devalues during a cash out, not so much when it's going up....

I'm saying nobody buys coffee at Starbucks or lunch at McDonalds or detergent at Walmart with bitcoin because its not practical. Wanna move $5k into Bookmaker? Then bitcoin is good, but for 99% of the population bitcoin will never be needed.

I am not very good at many things, does not stop me from trying! I just hate negative people with doomsday predictions on everything, facebook will fail, Microsoft is dead cause of Jobs, JCPenney will never make it because of amazon and all the others, its complete BS, you predict enough bad things some shit will happen and you will be smart.

You guys need to think big picture. The moment it costs more than $1 to send a tx, it starts losing its purpose. The initial idea of bitcoin was a method to exchange currency quickly, similar to a credit card with less fees.

When bitcoin was at 20k it costs $20 in miner fee just to send a tx. That's ridiculous and not sustainable. Volume has decreased since that rush so fee has gone down but it is still something to keep in mind.

I've been in bitcoin since 2013. Sadly did not stay in it as long as I should...my friend did and made 250k, I only made 10k. At one point I owned 80 bitcoin. Was playing 5/10 PLO at the borgota couple years ago, guy told me to buy ethereum. He bought 1000 for $2 each. Should have listened to him.

I like that large markets are now in play. Before futures were opened for bitcoin, market manipulation was very common. When bitcoin was >$10k/coin, futures were not available. Good to see pullback today after a very sudden rise, which should happen in a somewhat efficient market.

Liquidated some of my position due to a lot of big wins recently but am keeping a good amount in BTC right now. Confirmed uptrend right now, hopefully will continue.

I've been big in BNB since 02/28. I'm embarrassed to admit that I've lost money on other coins though so I'm all-in on BNB.

I don't know if I'm getting to know this coin really well or if I'm just getting lucky but I've been selling when the price starts going down and buying when it goes up. I picked up 8 coins this last time around. That may not sound like much but if I do it 12 times that's 100 coins and if the price hits $100 like I think it will then 100 coins is $10k.
