My attitude on Tron has done a 180º. It's not a scam - they are gaining fast on EOS......

Over the last few months I consolidated my portfolio to consist of btc, xrp, trx, (and now last week adding hot).

Just trying to figure out the correct holding ratio of the latter 3. I still have most of my marbles on btc.

Eh, don't know much about it to be honest. I know some people think highly of it. I have some OMG and BAT so they kind of fit in the same category of not-top 10 types.... Nothing wrong with having something with a little extra potential in your portfolio...

BTC, XRP, TRX = all good, IMO. The usual thing that needs to be said is that a lot of us feel BTC will sprout again some day but not necessarily a moonshot whereas several of the lesser coins/tokens might have a larger multiplier... So, ya take your chances.

So many are calling for another big dip but I dunno (BTC down $100 as I type). I wouldn't be surprised to see sideways action for a boringly long time and then a very mild bull run for a long time..... I'm in it for the long term so I guess we'll see how it shakes out...

You wouldn't believe me If I told you my IGG story lol...don't own anymore at this point though, back into TronBet after a month long absence, got in at 17 last week and it's already trading at 23 ish...just killing it in these markets

prices now are so cheap , just chip away at these prices if you still like crypto for the future
blockchain is the future imo, but a ton of crap projects with inflated values, if you hit 1-2 out of the 100 shiet coins itll all be worth it though

Why does all crypto currencies follow suit with Bitcoin?

If Bitcoin is climbing.... all crypto climbs....

If Bitcoin is falling... all crypto falls.

Don't these other ALT coins have a backbone?

Why even trade other ALT coins?

If you're asking this question, I would also guess you have never studied stock investing or how financial markets work. I would advise you to look up "beta in trading" and systematic risk.

Lol sorry I did not know a common rule for money laundering and tax avasion, guess I'm not good at those. Again, if you don't understand that similar companies or commodities within an industry move up or down together, you have never taken a basic finance class.

Not sure why the crash but I read somewhere, unknown on reliability, that someone bought a ton of futures contracts long on bitcoin, like 80k around the time of the spike from 3900 to 4100ish. My guess is a big player did a small pump and dump then sold his entire position to get out and get a bit more in the process.
I am curious since some futures are synthetic in nature, for example some oil contracts I've traded settled in cash, if someone buying/shorting a ton of contracts directly moves the markets right away.

Until cryptos are able to sustain weeks of successful gain and be higher than 200 day MA at minimum, it is still in a downward trend and technically speaking, should be avoided for long positions.

The consolation prize here is that it was a higher low and that is something that hasn't been happening much lately. Too early to call the end of the bear market, but there's definitely some positive forces leaking through...
