How easily shook people are. Scroll back two months ago the goal was for btc to be at 10k by years end. A week and half ago, this was amazing. If xrp dipped to 75 cents you'd hammer it, not sell.

The forum voted 50/50 if it would even hit 10k by the end of the year Mid November. Yes was +200 and still only 50% of people bet that it would. And now the sky is falling because it's only 6k above that with a week to go to new year


Last few days I wake up to a couple of people saying "oh no, bitcoin is crashing" each day.

Told one yesterday to get a grip and if bitcoin crashes it wont go down slowly, we'll suddenly see it go to 5k or less.

But same message again today, oh no it's crashing, under 16k now.

the kind of money that swings a market like this isn't worried about taxes.....although what you said is true, institutional money being poured into the space will counter act it... in the event it does drop, I am loading up...

What if the same thing happens in the stock market?Maybe a lot of people take their gains so as to invest in cryptocurrencies?If yes then maybe we ll see a new skyrocket to all cryptos at january?What do you think?

You realize I was being facetious, right? I'm not guaranteeing anything, and neither are you.

cryptos will be a topic of conversation when families gather. Many a college kid comes home over the holidays and tutors the family on " that bitcoin thing" that has piqued the interest of the masses. By the time everyone gets accounts set up, verified, funded, etc., the new year has rolled around. Fresh money comes in market early- mid Jan. Even more when tax returns come in. I see a strong 1st qtr for cryptos.

Just my 2-cents. This is bad.

And I say it not so much b/c of the Price drop. I use BtC for Transactions. Bitcoin didn't handle the hi-traffic period well at all. Fees way too hi, too much backlog on T/A orders. Was supposed to be fast + cheap...not happening.

yes, you're right, lets see what happens next week when they add segwit2x
I have a nano s, it supports segwit(start with 3) wallets and the fees are much less than my blockchains legacy wallet(start with 1), sometimes over 50%
need to start using segwit bitcoin wallets if u want lower fees and faster trans. segwit2x should double the block size so it would be even faster
