ZCash isn't a true privacy coin because its privacy is optional. I think Monero has a much brighter future. Better privacy tech, and no high inflation making it a better investment.

All 4 cryptos at Coinbase have lost value in last two days, so much for inverse relationship between BTC and others. I am hoping for rise in BCH with BTC remaining below 15000 so I can swap BCH for BTC.

All I have to say at this point is, WTF!!!! It's hard for me to accept that it's that many more people selling these cryptos compared to buying. It's just not adding up to me right now. Out all the forums/comments that I've come across, all I've read about is people BUYING. Something is not right, this has to have some sort of manipulation going on for whatever reason that's over everyone's head. It kind of smelled shitty the whole time and there has been several red flags along the way. All I can say at this point is, say it ain't so people!

in the end it's all stocks. Yea it sucks when it's down, but no one was complaining when it was up up up up up and up some more. It's a vicious cycle, but long term is where you have to look.

Pretend you just went 45-5 gambling over 50 bets and now over the past 3 days, you went 5-45, shit happens. Don't panic. The best part about a stock is that you aren't "all in" on 1 bet. You may be down money, but as easily as it goes down, it can easily go back up. If you trusted it enough to buy, trust it enough to rebound.

If everyone is complaining about missing the initial bitcoin jackpot, shoulda coulda woulda, you don't want to sell everything just for everything to rise back up and make the same mistake twice.

wow fun to watch the over reactions and sways of emotions on the ebbs and flows

any chance that a higher than normal amount of small timers were cashing out to get some quick Christmas cash (maybe they'd been planning to take a little cream off the top for months around now) to pass out some straight cash homey to the family and loved ones, or be uber santa claus with over the top gifts?

after that easily noticed tick down, we had alot of nervous, anxiety ridden, tech shut ins, and forum dwellers start panicking and SELL-SELL-SELLING!!!

great time to buy and hold folks

don't fall into the time warp of crypto peaks and valleys where 1 day can equal 3 months on normal investments

Thanks for the encouraging words. Definitely words of wisdom. Now if my bitcoin transactions that cost me $67 each would just confirm. I pay 200 sat/b over priority and 14 hours later neither have any confirmations yet. Network is a total sheetshow.

yeah I would venture to say that for guys on the street like us... its near impossible to try to pigeonhole and easily boil down the crypto-market, because it really can't be compared to something more public and logically like our US stock markets.

with big $ involved there is always alot of behind the scenes shit happening by really rich, powerful, influential, or smart people and many combos of them.

i'd think about now,more and more of the rich and powerful behind the scenes influence starts to occur and just being wicked tech smart and read up on cryptos will not be as important.

Not manipulation, these are currencies not investments I never understood how that got forgotten. Are you hoarding a bunch of US Dollars under your mattress hoping they go up a ton. It's great for all who made a killing but at some point they will go back to just being a method of depositing into online sports books and getting a fat bonus.

This selloff happened on asia time. They don't celebrate Christmas and we don't really have a clue who they are or what they are doing/thinking.
