I can't think of any other reason the line would be at 8.5 except respect for Hou offense, or a trap, or both.

The only thing I can think of is the Astros are averaging over 9 runs a game on this road trip by themselves and tied for league lead in homers vs lefties with 32.

No offense but part of my capping doesn't include thinking "what side would lock play!?". Lol. Just busting your balls a little bro., nothing but respect for ya..

that was my biggest issue w playing fish was fact volquez just threw no hitter, honestly I didn't even realize that he had until I started capping it (and I bet fish that game I believe, lol)., so I spent some time looking back at how guys performed after throwing a no no.

Ultimately it was very mixed bag with plenty of guys continuing to have success the next game while a bunch also got lit up.. wasn't enough to deter me as I been on volquez in some fashion quite a bit lately as I believed he was gonna start getting better results as his early struggles were mostly due to walks/control issues which hasn't historically been a problem for him and he has seemed to get it under control last month.

His current form vs cole's who been trending the opposite direction, coupled with pit off a couple devastating losses in balty where pen absolutely collopsed in demoralizing fashion just led me to believe marlins chances of taking this game were much better than odds suggested.,

Lots of game left who knows how it will play out? Both pens sketchy as hell so most likely in for interesting game late!
