    Watford vs West Ham
Kickoff is imminent. Take Watford to win. West Ham's most influential player, Andy Carroll, has surprisingly failed to recover from injury and West Ham have spent the last few days training in the Middle East. They may well be off the pace in the cold at Watford. I'm a West Ham fan but Watford are value here.

1-0 or 2-0. West Ham are decent defensively but we'll struggle to score without an alternative to Carroll.

I'd probably go the other way. West Ham have been caught early but it might stay 1-0 the rest of the way. I'm tempted to hedge out.

Done with soccer. I have had like 5 instances where I played over 2.5 and had 2 goals at halftime or little into the second half and still lost.

It was likely to be a low scoring game today. Watford are decent but aren't high scorers. West Ham are a better team but without Carroll we struggle to score. It looked like a 1-0 game for 65 minutes. The climate change after a week's training in Dubai affected West Ham. Playing the game at 17:30 when it was colder rather than 15:00 contributed to that. Fair odds today would have been +135, +225 with the draw at +225. If West Ham had Carroll available, hadn't travelled to Dubai, and the game was at 15:00 +210,+145, with the draw at +222 would have been fair, (and I would have backed West Ham). Watford today at +170 was a decent edge. Win some, lose some. I'm not a heavy gambler so i'm not going to say I lost a lot.
...and as a West Ham fan i'm pleased with the point.
