Check out a base just before colors goes down, you'll see the majority of people scrambling to get under cover so they can get on with their day instead of having to stand at attention for a few minutes...you could call that disrespectful as well, but I like to think people are capable of respecting something and walking at the same time. Well, not Army maybe, but other branches have the chip capacity for it
