#317Yes we did - problem was I severed it in half so it was a lost cause. Jack didn't make it very long into the trip either. It was killed before the "official bash" even started.
As far as cliques...none what so ever. What started out as 4 grew as guys like Booya, kkozzer, blitty, boner guests etc joined us without having to ask if they were wanted. The more the merrier I say. Someone, usually Bigday I think, also posted where we were on the resort.
Quanger received quite the standing applause if I remember correctly...Comment -

#341Not sure why anyone would book a ticket this far out as deals to Punta Cana pop up all the time. If you set on Southwest wait till October for their annual sale is a no-brainer...Comment -

I'm all about saving a buck too... but I don't recall Southwest offering any discounts from the Detroit area to Punta Cana 2 years ago? I believe I paid $478.00 2 years ago... got the reservation in August. Not a bad rate for the ticket and 2 checked bags.
I logged in periodically every month to check pricing... all the rate did... was continue to go up closer to the departure date.Comment -

#350I was looking on the Hard Rock website last night trying to find prices for excursions, spa treatments, golf...basically anything that the resort credits can be used for...
well, I got my answer rather quickly...
a 50 minute deep tissue massage is $170
a 80 minute hot stone massage is $290
The credits won't go very far with exorbitant prices like that. I know this is a nice resort and you have to expect to pay top dollar for most things, but I can get a 90 minute massage on Groupon for $30 or $40...
I did not find any of the excursions or prices for those
However, golf did seem rather reasonable at around $200 a round for a beautiful course.
I guess it depends on who you are and what you like but the credits are fairly useless to me. If you golf, the credits are far more useful.Comment
