How to play

• Download SBR Poker. For questions on SBR Poker, visit the SBR Poker FAQ.
• Four daily tournaments Mon-Fri May 2 to Wed. August 17 at 3PM, 7PM, 9PM, and 11PM ET. SBR Pros play for free, non-pros pay 6 points to buy-in.
  
• The top 100 players in points won advance to the Poker Championship on Sat. August 20 at 5PM ET.

Championship Prizes: Saturday August 20 at 5PM ET
1st. 45,000 betpoints
2nd. 27,500 betpoints
3rd. 17,500 betpoints
4th. 12,500 betpoints
5th. 7,500 betpoints
6th. 5,000 betpoints
7th. 3,000 betpoints
8th. 2,500 betpoints
9th. 1,500 betpoints
10th. 1,000 betpoints
11th. 800 betpoints
12th. 500 betpoints
13th. 400 betpoints
14th. 300 betpoints

Fine-print
1. One account per household. Players who operate multiple accounts or are otherwise penalized from the forum during the qualification period may lose their eligibility at the discretion of SBR.
2. Must be an SBR Pro to receive the championship password. If user(s) within the final top 100 are non-pro, the next eligible SBR Pro(s) take their place.
3. In the event that the tournament schedule is interrupted due to technical error, replacement tournament(s) will be conducted on Saturdays.

Looks great to me. Personally I prefer this sort of thing to the WSOP seat and such. I know most people will think I'm crazy since obviously a $10,000 seat is way more than 45,000 betpoints, but personally I really prefer structures where the payout is flatter rather than 1st place basically getting everything. Makes it much more likely those months of play leading up to the final event will give you a decent chance at a nice payoff rather than a roughly 1/100 chance for a huge payoff.

I have one request: Use the Shari tournament format where we started with 5k in chips (I believe it was). All that work to get to the top 100 and it turns into a shovefest because blinds increase too quickly compared to the starting stack
