Wasn't in the cards tonight, oh well. Down 3.35x.
YTD: +34.46x.
Only thing I'm ticked at really is laying off the Cubs RL the past couple of days because it seemed "too obvious/easy/square." That was dumb. When you eschew the "too-obvious" bets, you leave yourself a much crappier selection of plays to pick from. Sometimes the best plays are the ones with the flashing neon signs.
Anyway, better card tomorrow. $$ will be won.

True story: The only game I totally nailed I could not post my plays for because SBR was down. (KC game over and TT over for a unit each). Of course. :P
One last play: D'Backs/Pads over 7.5, -120 (1.5x)
Maybe I can steal that STL over??

Today: 2-2, Even Steven in units.
YTD: Still +34.46x.
Disappointed with the no-change because most of my leans came in, but of course hindsight is 20-20. Looking forward to a positive weekend!

Well Reds and Royals were nice and easy.
Worried the rain may have fukked me though with the Red Sox... Pomeranz was cruising, only 51 pitches through five! But now he can't come back out, so it's 12 outs from a very shaky bullpen... ugh.

Okay, here we go with Sunday, my traditional worst day of the week. Hoping to buck that trend today. Let's get back over 40 units!
Two early plays:
Rays -114 (1x)
Reds +138 (1x)
Several more plays to come, most likely...

I'm riding that same parlay. Usually don't get close to parlays but I had to pull the trigger this morning. Love both of those matchups!
EDIT; My bad, My parlay is CHC/KC. Forget that.

Jason Hammel: Zero runs in his last three starts. Seven runs in the bottom of the first today. What. The. Fukk.
Looks like I may end up having to cap the night game to dig out. Ugh. Fukkin Sundays... Lot of plays left though, we'll see.

That's a WRAP on today. May I come out in one piece. ... Started the day at +40 units. Do I finish it by closing the thread?
Off to do shopping and chores and probably not watch another ounce of baseball today... BOL to all.

Worst day of the season. -8.26x. Somehow dropped 20% of my bankroll in one day. The Sunday curse gets me again.
YTD: +31.73x.
This is probably a good time to take a breather, reflect, and recharge. See you again at some point.

Trust me, it's Sundays...it really lose. Go back and look at if you need to but I've done so and something is just strange on Sundays. Don't sweat it, keep your system...maybe fade Sundays as annoying as that is...

Thanks for your thoughts, Tyche! Yeah, it's uncanny. I think maybe the players doing their night outs clubbing or whatever on Saturdays messes up the usual expected outcomes on Sunday. Whatever it is, I'm passing on them for the rest of the season, they just bite me too often.
Took today off for mental health purposes (although now I'm shaking my head because I would have been on the Red Sox RL)... May take another day or two as well to "recharge the battery," but not sure yet... Thanks for checking in and good luck to you!

^^ My angle on the Mariners here is twofold. One, I believe Sabathia is pretty much toast at this point. Two, the M's recalled Taijuan Walker after the guy had been sent down to the minors essentially for not competing hard enough. They're in a pennant race and they sent a talented kid down to teach him a lesson. Here's his big change to show his teammates he's got the stones to help them make the playoffs. I believe he can pitch through his nagging foot problem, he just has to will himself through it. Just seems like a decent spot to get a good team at home at not too high a price. Thought about the run line too, but may just see how he looks and hit something more live.

Sorry, K-Man, Mariners went down without a fight tonight. That team is like my Dodgers of the American League, I never know when they're going to show up!
CC hadn't given up fewer than THREE runs in his LAST ELEVEN starts. So of course he comes out tonight and completely shuts down the M's, pitching like in his heyday... Mariners hadn't SCORED fewer than THREE runs in their last 11 games. So of course tonight they go out meekly. Shaking my head. I'll get you next time, Bro!

Ms are very lefty heavy, Cruz and kinda Zunnino are only legit weapons. They probably come out guns blazing tonight.

Good point, Tyche. Cano does hit lefties okay, but it was not a super impressive lineup they threw out there last night. At the same time, Sabathia had just been BOMBED and I really thought that he might scuffle for the rest of the season. Did not expect the vintage CC. You may be right about tonight.

Gonna hit this early game for both side and total:
Stros/Pirates over 7.5, +110 (1x)
Astros +124 (1x)
McHugh has been pretty subpar all year, but Cole has really not looked right lately. No Cutch today for the Bucs, but I still think runs get scored here. This turning into a pitcher's duel would really be bucking some trends. I mostly liked the over, but the way Cole has looked in his last couple of starts, and the RLM on this game, has me also trying to hit the 'Stros.
