Players just as good as 'Melo
Millsap

Hayward
'Melo is a top 15 NBA player on the outside of the top 10.
Handful of teams have two players as good as Melo on the same squad.
Andre drummond? Um....No....

Drummond is a double/double machine.
Leads the league in rebounds, 15 a game.
Scores 17 points a game on the average.
And he's an elite shot blocker, and the best center we ever had at UConn.
'Melo gives you 21 points a game, 7 rebounds, 4 assists.
Both will help any team, but for my money give me the 6'11" beast monster in the middle every time

The weasel got what he deserved. He is a typical former Laker, in other words, anything but a decent human being.

The main problem has always been Anthony
He is a team killer, he has always had a loser label and presence
Once he is released or traded then I would take the job

this will be 3rd year in a row Knicks miss playoffs in the weak East. 3 years during Carmelo's supposed "prime" years...

Man, it is hard to win there! The triangle offense? What would happen if the owner of the GSW made them run the triangle offense? How many other teams run the triangle offense? Duh - I wonder if all the other teams in basketball have learned how to defend the triangle offense?

Drummond is not a good defender. I go to half of all pistons home games and have been for years. Drummond is an awful 1 on 1 defender. He is also a horrible offensive player. He racks up board and gets lob dunks. He is young, he'll be good. Right now, Andre Drummond can't impact a game like Carmello Anthony. Anthony can take over a game offensively and can dominate.
How many times do you see the pistons give it to Drummond down low and let him go to work? Like 5 times a game? Mello touches the ball on every possession.
You would sound foolish if you said that among the NBA community. Stick to baseball.

Drummond is the king of grabbing his own misses/tip shots. That's why his offensive rebounding numbers are so ridiculous.

In an interview with Bleacher Report, Derek Fisher defended his work and said that he had the team in a better state when he was fired than Hornacek is doing with more talent, noting, “We were able to take a team that wasn’t as talented as the team they have now, and we were much better and much further along than this group is that they have now, because the foundation was being laid.”
Hornacek heard the talk and wasn’t pleased.
“There’s enough analysts, reporters, that always like to talk about what should’ve, could’ve, what they did, so we don’t pay much attention to it,” Hornacek said after the Knicks’ morning shoot-around at Verizon Center. “Whatever he did last year, he had a year and a half here, his relationship with Phil, whatever it was, again, this is a new year.
“Everything’s new. Again, he may have thought he did something with that team from last year. I’m not concerned about that. I don’t think our guys are. So just go play.”
